October 2, 2014 Rainbow

Has it really been over 4 months since I last did a page here?  Wow, am I ever lame.

Speaking of lame, here are a few rainbow images I shot outside my front door.  The contrast wasn’t the best but it’s all I got for ya.

The music for this page is “The Very Best of Rainbow”, by of course, Rainbow.  I like the Joe Lynn Turner era songs including “Jealous Lover” and “Stone Cold” …but there are many good tracks on this CD.  Too bad the images here are kinda lame.

After a rather dismal day, the sun popped in between a break in the clouds and this rainbow appeared.  I felt the contrast seemed much better than the images reflect, yet I had to boost my ISO to 400.

I was tempted to try for the Pot O’ Gold here, but the ever-present hydrometeors kept me at bay.  I’m such a wuss.

Kind of neat halo-effect using the large tree across the street.

My “2014 Bread and Water Tour” continues…
