June 24, 2013 Moon and Flowers

Some local shots…familiar themes…

JUN 23 2013 001aNikon D7100 with a Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD lens/Tamron SP AF 2X tele-converter and  shot at F/18 and a 1/30 of a second shutter speed.  ISO 100.  Focal length: 600mm (APS-C).  IMAGE CROPPED.

This I saw a Full Moon while on a walk, so when I returned I decided to grab a shot of it.  As you can see, I used a little different type of a crop for this.  The weakness of the optics of my tele-converter are showing.  There is obvious chromatic aberration in the upper left (look for the blue/green border).  Oh well.

With no wild flowers at the North Shore to speak of, I did some more work over at George and Patsy’s yard.

JUN 24 2013 002aNikon D7100 with a Nikkor 17-55mm F/2.8G ED lens shot at F/18 and a 1 second shutter speed.  ISO 100.  Focal length: 55mm (APS-C).

“Missundaztood” by Pink is the music for this page. “Just Like a Pill”, “18 Wheeler” and “Dear Diary”  are my favorites.

JUN 24 2013 003Nikon D7100 with a Nikkor 17-55mm F/2.8G ED lens shot at F/10 and a 1/4 of a second shutter speed.  ISO 100.  Focal length: 55mm (APS-C).

That’s all I got.  These are just straight flower images; no need for any commentary.
